A 3-groove water pump pulley (GM part number 3889372 (1968-70) or 3992071 (1971-74), no longer available from GM) is required for proper installation of this bracket kit. If your vehicle is not equipped with this pulley, you will need to obtain the correct pulley prior to installing this kit.
